VITEC and Actelis Networks Join Forces to Revolutionize IPTV Access for RF-Only Spaces

Revolutionizing Video Delivery through Strategic Partnership

The collaboration combines VITEC’s cutting-edge IPTV platform with Actelis’ innovative hybrid networking technology to facilitate seamless video delivery without the need for rewiring existing legacy infrastructures.

VITEC, a recognized leader in IPTV and digital signage solutions, has joined forces with Actelis Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASNS), renowned for its rapid deployment networking solutions tailored for IoT applications. Their new partnership aims to enhance IPTV and digital signage services in facilities utilizing outdated RF coaxial infrastructure. This powerful solution permits efficient IP video distribution over current coax cabling, effectively eliminating the expenses associated with extensive retrofitting. By uniting VITEC’s advanced IPTV capabilities and Actelis’ reputable Gigaline technology, this partnership opens new opportunities, making modern IPTV and digital signage attainable for organizations stuck with RF-only networks.

“Teaming up with Actelis enables our partners to optimize their existing RF infrastructure,” stated Eli Garten, Senior Vice President of Global IPTV at VITEC. “Our solution empowers IP video distribution through coaxial cables without the need to adapt for Ethernet wiring. Designed for rapid deployment and minimal configuration, this high-performance system works effectively in even the most complex RF setups. It can be introduced gradually without any disruptions, perfectly fitting large-scale deployments with hundreds or thousands of endpoints. This breakthrough will allow a broader range of businesses and venues to access IPTV services, and we’re thrilled to introduce it to the market.”

This innovative solution leverages Actelis’ aggregation and endpoint devices along with their software, enabling smooth conversion between Ethernet and RF protocols. The system guarantees reliable and efficient video delivery to thousands of endpoints while remaining compatible with legacy infrastructures, needing minimal network modifications. This attribute makes it exceptionally suitable for phased implementations, especially in large environments where uninterrupted operation is critical. The solution can serve as either the primary IP video transmission option or as a hybrid approach within existing IPTV frameworks, extending services to facilities that have not yet upgraded from RF systems.

The alliance between VITEC and Actelis emerged from a mutual goal to tackle the hurdles posed by legacy RF networks in settings like stadiums, campuses, government buildings, and manufacturing facilities. By utilizing Actelis’ superior solutions, VITEC is now equipped to provide a fully integrated, plug-and-play IPTV solution that ensures high-performance video distribution without the difficult and costly processes of retrofitting.

“Our objective in this collaboration was to establish a secure, high-performance networking layer that could be deployed swiftly and without interruptions,” noted Elad Domanovitz, Chief Technology Officer at Actelis. “By merging Actelis’ hybrid fiber-coax technology with VITEC’s IPTV platform, we aim to empower government, defense, and enterprise clients to adopt modern video solutions in RF-only environments while significantly reducing both installation time and operational risks.”

This partnership strategically focuses on vital sectors including sports and entertainment venues, federal and defense establishments, corporate offices, hospitality, and manufacturing facilities. By adapting Actelis’ proven Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) technology for wider applications, VITEC is set to tap into new market segments while delivering exceptional value to both integrators and end users.
