Innovative Partnership: EDGE and Baykar Team Up to Enhance Payload Capabilities for Drones

EDGE, recognized as one of the globe’s premier advanced technology and defense consortiums, alongside Baykar, a renowned global innovator in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artificial intelligence advancements, are presently joining forces to incorporate EDGE’s intelligent munitions onto Bayraktar UAVs. This integration initiative is part of a Strategic Alliance Agreement aimed at collaborating on state-of-the-art technology solutions in the defense arena.

As part of this initiative, EDGE will embed their DESERT STING 16 precision-guided munitions onto the Baykar TB2 UAV. The integration is anticipated to be finalized before year-end, followed by additional payload integrations onto various Baykar platforms.

The Bayraktar TB2 represents a medium-altitude long-endurance tactical UAV, designed for executing ISR and armed strike operations with full autonomy during taxiing, take-off, landing, and cruising phases.

EDGE and Baykar will persist in reinforcing their collaboration under the Strategic Alliance Agreement, exploring further opportunities for joint ventures and mutually advantageous initiatives.
