Exail Partners with NOR Offshore Rental to Enhance Navigation Solutions in APAC Expansion
NOR Offshore Rental (NOR) has procured multiple units of Exail subsea Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) as part of the organization’s continuous initiative to broaden its rental equipment inventory. This recent acquisition precedes NOR’s upcoming office launch in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) area, further solidifying its footing in the marketplace and responding to the increasing demand for high-performance navigation solutions.
Exail’s INS and AHRS are specifically designed to function at depths reaching 6,000 meters, delivering dependable and accurate navigation information for both shallow and deep-water operations. Their sturdy construction ensures reliable performance under severe conditions, making them perfect for demanding subsea endeavors. The inclusion of these systems into NOR’s equipment rental inventory will significantly elevate its competencies in the APAC sector, where the need for cutting-edge navigation solutions is on the rise.
“We are thrilled to continue assisting NOR with our sophisticated inertial navigation systems,” stated Carl Trollet, Regional Sales Manager at Exail. “Our systems are recognized for their accuracy and dependability in the most challenging environments, and we are confident they will play a pivotal role in NOR’s capability to address the varied requirements of clients in the APAC region.”
This latest acquisition follows a substantial order made by NOR at the close of 2024, highlighting the strong partnership between the two firms.
“We are enthusiastic about the ongoing expansion of our fleet to more effectively cater to the rising demand in the APAC region,” remarked Jostein Jansen, Chief Commercial Officer at NOR. “By investing further in Exail’s pioneering systems, we are enhancing our pledge to deliver our clients cutting-edge navigation technology. Our enduring collaboration with Exail has been instrumental, and we are excited to continue our partnership.”
