AL TARIQ and Bharat Dynamics Forge Strategic Partnership with Groundbreaking MoU

EDGE Group subsidiary, AL TARIQ, a prominent innovator and manufacturer of highly adaptable long-range precision-guided munitions (LR-PGMs), has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a leading designer, creator, and producer of indigenous missiles and underwater weaponry. This agreement was formalized during Aero India 2023, Asia’s foremost aerospace showcase, which is taking place at Yelahanka Air Base, Bengaluru, until 17 February.

Aligned with the theme of the event, ’The Runway to a Billion Opportunities‘, which emphasizes local collaborations and investments in India, AL TARIQ and BDL will collaboratively manufacture the AL TARIQ series of all-weather, day/night, long-range precision-guided munition (LR-PGM) kits within the country.

Furthermore, it will allow us to address the requirements of the Indian Air Force while supporting the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.”

As per the MoU, Indian variants of AL TARIQ’s LR-PGMs will be designed and produced at our cutting-edge facilities, thus incorporating a modular and advanced long-range capability into our precision-guided munition portfolio.”
