
EDGE Forges Groundbreaking Alliance with Brazil’s Marine Corps
EDGE Group PJSC (EDGE), a prominent entity in advanced technology and defense sectors worldwide, has formalized a pivotal accord with the Brazilian Marine Corps. This agreement underscores the significance of the Brazilian defense landscape for EDGE and unveils substantial prospects for the group to present its innovative array of multi-domain offerings, concentrating on autonomous vehicles, electronic warfare, and secure communications.
The signing ceremony occurred in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, as part of an ongoing EDGE leadership visit to essential local governmental bodies, defense industry allies, and potential clients. The agreement was executed by Mansour AlMulla, EDGE Group Managing Director & CEO, alongside Vice Admiral (Marine) Rogério Ramos Lage, Commander of Marine Corps Material. The event was graced by the Ambassador of the UAE in Brazil – H.E. Saleh Ahmad Salem Alzaraim Alsuwaidi, along with His Excellency Faisal Al Bannai, Chairman of EDGE Group, and various senior officials from EDGE and the Brazilian Navy, including Hamad Al Marar, President of Missiles and Weapons at EDGE; Rodrigo Torres, President and Group CFO of EDGE; Fleet Admiral Carlos Chagas Vianna Braga, General Commander of the Marine Corps; and General Director of Navy Material, Almirante Arthur Fernando Bettega Corrêa.

The signing lays the groundwork for a proposed technical cooperation agreement between both entities in the near future. EDGE recently revealed a strategic alliance with the Brazilian Navy to collaboratively develop a long-range anti-ship missile, along with providing advanced solutions such as anti-jamming technology, developed by EDGE in the UAE.
