“BEDEX 2026: KNDS Strengthens Ties with the Belgian Military”

KNDS Showcases Cutting-Edge Defense Solutions at BEDEX 2026

  • At BEDEX 2026, KNDS is proudly displaying components from the CaMo (Capacité Motorisée/Motorized Capacity) program, highlighting Franco-Belgian collaboration and a strong commitment to bolstering Belgian national defense.
  • Based in Petit-Roeulz-lez-Nivelles, KNDS has established an industrial presence in Belgium for 80 years, marking the country as the second largest production site for KNDS France after France itself.
  • The exhibition features the BONUS 155mm munition and loitering munitions, showcasing KNDS’s extensive expertise in advanced munitions technology.

Highlights from the CaMo Program: Serval, Jaguar, and More

KNDS is showcasing major systems from the SCORPION program at the Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference (BEDEX) 2026. Featured vehicles include the Serval and Jaguar, alongside the Griffon MEPAC (Mortier Embarqué Pour l’Appui au Contact) artillery system. These cutting-edge systems exemplify the technological and industrial prowess of KNDS, Arquus, Thales, and Texelis. As key components of the CaMo program—initiated in 2014—they play an essential role in enhancing the interoperability of European defense forces.

A standout is the VBMR-L Serval, freshly ordered by the Belgian Land Forces. The local assembly of both the Griffon and Serval by MOL CY underscores the CaMo program’s focus on fostering Belgium’s industrial capabilities.

KNDS’s Expertise in Munitions: From Medium Caliber to Innovative Solutions

At BEDEX, KNDS is also highlighting its expertise in ammunition ranging from 20mm to 155mm. This includes the full lineup of 155mm munitions, featuring the combat-tested BONUS anti-tank system with autonomous target acquisition. The company is set to present the 40 CTA ammunition series, which is employed by the Jaguar system, recognized by both Belgium and Luxembourg. KNDS proudly supplies the Belgian land forces with advanced 40mm ammunition and high-performance 155mm shells, bolstered by its newly inaugurated Large Caliber Machining and Banding Unit (UCGC) in Petit-Roeulz-lez-Nivelles.

Moreover, building on its robust ammunition design and mission solutions expertise, KNDS presents its comprehensive 3D protection ecosystem, integrating C-UAS/VSHORAD/Ground-to-Ground solutions. This ecosystem is engineered to protect convoys and high-value targets against evolving threats, featuring systems like the Serval LAD equipped with an ARX30 cannon that leverages proven airburst technology. RAPIDFire Land enhances interception capabilities within this defensive framework, complemented by the Serval DSA, armed with MISTRAL missiles.

Finally, KNDS is featuring two advanced loitering munitions from the Mataris range: the MX-10 Damocles and MV-25 Oskar. Renowned as the first loitering munition utilized by French forces, the MX-10 Damocles is armed with a specialized warhead capable of neutralizing infantry and lightly armored threats. Developed in partnership with DELAIR, these munitions underscore KNDS’s agility in adapting its offerings to meet operational demands swiftly.
