Milanion Unveils Cutting-Edge ISR and Assured-PNT Alliances to Boost Future Autonomous Capabilities at WDS 2026
Milanion Group Expands Future-Capability Development at World Defense Show 2026
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 12th February 2026 – Milanion Group has taken a major step forward in its roadmap for future capabilities by signing two critical Memoranda of Understanding at the World Defense Show 2026. These agreements forge new partnerships with Elistair and NovAtel, aimed at enhancing persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), assured navigation, and mission resilience across its autonomous and unmanned systems portfolio.
Partnership with Elistair
Elistair, renowned for its leadership in tethered unmanned aerial systems, offers advanced long-endurance, automated aerial surveillance, and robust communications capabilities utilized by military and security forces worldwide. By integrating Elistair’s cutting-edge tethered drone technology with Milanion’s unmanned ground and maritime platforms, the collaboration enables persistent overwatch and improved communications resilience for both mobile and static operations. This integration significantly enhances situational awareness, threat detection, and timely decision-making, providing commanders with a reliable ‘eye in the sky’ that is not hindered by battery constraints or spectrum limitations.
Collaboration with NovAtel
NovAtel, a Canadian leader in high-precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies, boosts Milanion’s capabilities in secure navigation and mission integrity across diverse operational domains, including land, air, and sea. The integration of NovAtel’s Anti-Jamming (APNT) and anti-spoofing technologies ensures that Milanion’s platforms can navigate effectively even in challenging environments where GNSS denial, electronic warfare, and cyber threats are prevalent. This reinforces secure navigation, route integrity, and mission reliability, enhancing autonomy performance and targeting accuracy under adverse conditions.
Strategic Goals and Objectives
These partnerships align with Milanion’s strategic vision to create a connected autonomy architecture. This architecture integrates elevated sensing, secure communications, assured positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), as well as mission-level autonomy across various platforms, including unmanned ground vehicles, autonomous maritime systems, mobile indirect fire systems, and loitering munitions. Delegates at the World Defense Show 2026 have emphasized the necessity for systems that remain functional in contested environments, can operate independently of vulnerable networks, and offer rapid, sovereign-ready integration—key priorities that these partnerships directly address.
“Persistent ISR, resilient communications, and assured navigation are the cornerstones of effective autonomous operations,” stated Mitesh Purohit, VP Global Sales at Milanion Group. “These partnerships reinforce vital operational needs with proven, deployable technologies that enhance decision-making, survivability, and mission success across all domains.”
Future Developments
Discussions around technical integration with both Elistair and NovAtel will commence immediately following WDS 2026, with joint development and capability demonstrations scheduled for later in the year.
Milanion is committed to assembling a coalition of top-tier technology providers to develop a next-generation autonomy ecosystem. This pivotal move is part of its long-term strategy to deliver highly connected, resilient, and operationally effective autonomous systems, tailored for the complexities of modern operational environments.
