Havelsan Soars into 2024 with Groundbreaking Airbus 320 Simulator Milestones

Based in Turkey, flight simulation solution developer and producer HAVELSAN has disclosed that within the scope of the Turkish Airlines Simulator Acquisition Initiative, HAVELSAN has successfully accomplished the Factory Acceptance Examination for Turkish Airlines’s inaugural A320 Full Flight Simulator and has commenced the Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Simultaneously, the Factory Acceptance Examination for the second HAVELSAN-manufactured A320 FFS for Turkish Airlines is currently underway. HAVELSAN had previously finalized a contract with Turkish Airlines for the acquisition of a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs alongside Boeing 737 MAX full flight simulators (FFS) and Flight Training Devices (FTDs).

As the SAT progresses, HAVELSAN will initiate the EASA Certification for its simulator; with EASA approval, all HAVELSAN-produced full flight simulators, including the Boeing B737NG and Boeing B737MAX, will achieve EASA certification. Equipped with these advanced simulators, pilots will undertake their training in environments that mimic real aircraft with exceptional reliability.

Throughout the latter months of 2023, HAVELSAN has attained numerous critical milestones as it amplifies its efforts to assist airlines and flight training organizations, including achieving EASA certification for two Boeing B737MAX full flight simulators and announcing the inauguration of a new Turkish Airline Training Center within HAVELSAN’s facilities.

As one of the largest simulator manufacturing companies, HAVELSAN consistently fulfills simulator deliveries tailored to its clients’ demands and swiftly adapts to the surging requirement for simulator training. The organization is currently on the lookout for supplementary airline or training center operators to exchange insights regarding its offerings and the distinct value it can deliver.
