HAVELSAN Revives Airbus A320 Simulator Exhilaration with EASA Certification Renewal at IFTC!
Ankara, Türkiye based flight simulator producer HAVELSAN announced that another HAVELSAN developed full flight simulator (FFS), an Airbus A320 operated by full flight simulator training center group International Flight Training Center (IFTC), a subsidiary of Gözen Holding, has once again secured European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Level D certification.
IFTC is Türkiye’s inaugural independent full flight simulator training facility, established in 2008, featuring two training locations on different continents (one in Istanbul and another in Antalya). These training sites are equipped with five full flight simulators accommodating both Airbus A320 and Boeing B737NG aircraft models.
IFTC is globally acknowledged for aiding various airlines and stakeholders with their pilot training needs. In May 2024, IFTC revealed an order for a HAVELSAN produced Airbus A320 NEO/CEO full flight simulator offering three engine variations, demonstrating HAVELSAN’s capability to assist pilot training centers with cutting-edge flexible and rapid solutions for training apparatus.
The device’s installation and evaluation were completed within a month, achieving EASA Level D certification and entering training readiness in July 2024.
HAVELSAN is dedicated to assisting IFTC in broadening its pilot training infrastructure and enhancing Türkiye’s reputation as a premier global pilot training center by providing supplementary training apparatus to ensure top-notch and effective training capacity.
Presently, HAVELSAN is manufacturing several Airbus A320 full flight simulators, with plans to deliver two more devices to clients in 2025.
HAVELSAN is particularly concentrating on delivering industry-leading after-sales support and engaging with clients on long-term collaboration initiatives. The company is actively pursuing additional airline or training center operators to share insights about its offerings and the exceptional value it can deliver.
