Arquus and PT Pindad Forge Strategic Partnership at Eurosatory 2022 for Indonesia’s Defense Advancements
On June 14th, Arquus and PT Pindad formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering future collaboration in land systems platforms for Indonesia. This MoU encompasses the creation and manufacturing of innovative armored vehicles, along with related systems and services. With this agreement, both entities commit to transforming a commendable relationship into an official and more extensive partnership.
Arquus and PT Pindad have maintained a fruitful partnership over the previous 15 years. During this period, Arquus has been supplying PT Pindad with essential components and parts that have been incorporated into domestically-produced armored vehicles in Indonesia.
In alignment with this collaboration, Arquus has notably provided powerpacks for ANOA 6×6 APC vehicles and BADAK 6×6 IFVs, which are currently in service with the Indonesian Army. Additionally, Arquus has delivered rolling chassis for the KOMODO 4×4 multipurpose vehicle.
To continue enhancing this strong bond, Arquus and PT Pindad have chosen to sign a MoU to formalize their dialogues and establish their alliance.
The objective of this MoU is to collaborate in the domain of military vehicles and systems to meet the existing requirements of the Indonesian Armed Forces. This collaboration will encompass multifunctional armored vehicles, reconnaissance vehicles, APCs and IFVs, as well as remote-controlled weapon stations. It may also include development, product validation, manufacturing and assembly, along with aftersales services.
Arquus is delighted to deepen its relationship with its long-standing ally, PT Pindad. The new MoU is expected to enhance the framework of ongoing and future cooperation between both companies, thereby reinforcing Arquus’ commitment to Indonesia and its support alongside the Indonesian National Armed Forces.

Apart from its longstanding association with PT Pindad, and the multitude of ANOA, BADAK, and KOMODO armored vehicles proudly operational daily, Arquus serves as a significant supplier for the Indonesian Army. Arquus has indeed manufactured and delivered a total of 80 vehicles directly to the Ministry of Defense, including VAB, VBL, and Sherpa Light vehicles in varied configurations.
