
Aselsan Expands Its Footprint with New Qatar Branch Launch
Turkish defense systems producer Aselsan Elektronik announced on Tuesday the inauguration of a new branch in Qatar.
The newly established branch, Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. QSTP-B, will bolster the firm’s growing operations in Qatar, Aselsan declared in a report submitted to Borsa Istanbul’s public disclosure platform (KAP), as per Anadolu Agency (AA) news. No additional specifics were provided.
ASELSAN is affiliated with the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, founded in 1975 to fulfill the communication requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces domestically. Presently, 74.20% of the shares are held by the Foundation, while the remaining 25.8% is traded on the İstanbul Borsa stock exchange.
