In a thrilling exhibition of expertise, tactics, and collaboration, Dubai Police SWAT squads secured the leading two positions in the intensely contested UAE SWAT Challenge 2024.
This illustrious event, conducted annually in Dubai, draws elite SWAT teams from across the globe, all competing for the prestigious title in demanding trials aimed at pushing their boundaries.
The Dubai Police’s unmatched performance throughout the five-day competition showcased their rigorous preparation, unwavering commitment, and pursuit of excellence.
Day 5 – (the Obstacle Challenge) Winners
First Place: RNP SWAT Team 1- Rwanda
– Score: 52 points – Time: 03:54.08
Second Place: Department of Special Forces KALKAN – Kyrgyzstan
– Score: 51- Time: 03:59.08
Third Place: Uzbekistan Police – Uzbekistan
– Score: 50 – Time: 04:04.03
Top Three Overall Champions of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2024
1. First Place – With an outstanding score of 325 points, Team B exhibited remarkable skill across various categories, including hostage rescue, tactical shooting, and obstacle navigation, earning them the championship title.
2. Second Place- Hot on their trail, Dubai Police Team A gathered 303 points, showcasing remarkable teamwork and strategic acumen, clinching a well-deserved second position.
3. Third place –Team SARDAR from Kazakhstan finished third, acquiring 302 points, displaying impressive abilities and determination, affirming their status as fierce competitors on the global stage.
Honoring the Champions
Their extraordinary accomplishments were commemorated in a grand awarding ceremony, where His Excellency Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police, alongside senior officials, sponsors of the UAE SWAT Challenge, partners, and an international audience presented the top ten victors with their well-deserved trophies and accolades.
