Patria’s Board of Directors has designated Esa Rautalinko, 56, Master of Science (Economics), as President and Chief Executive Officer of Patria Group. Chief Financial Officer Ville Jaakonsalo has been serving as acting President and CEO since January 2019.
Rautalinko will assume this role on the 1st of July 2019. He is presently the CEO of Örum Group and has also held the position of Chairman of Patria’s Board of Directors since November 2018. His extensive leadership experience spans across both domestic and global enterprises as well as various boards of companies and organizations.
Consequently, Petri Vihervuori, member of Patria’s Board of Directors, will step in as the acting Chairman of the Board.

I am optimistic that under his guidance, Patria will further enhance its international service business strategy and its execution. The development of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) strategies and reinforcing Patria’s position as one of the leading service providers globally were pivotal factors in the CEO selection process.
