ESCRIBANO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Unveils Revolutionary Guided Munition Kits
The Spanish publication Revista Ejércitos has highlighted the advancement program of FGK Guided Ammunition Kits crafted by the firm ESCRIBANO M&E.
FGK facilitates the enhancement of artillery rockets ranging from 70mm to 300mm and artillery
shells up to 155mm, substituting the conventional fuze with a guided ammunition set to achieve
a dispersion radius reduction to under 20m.

This system employs GPS technology, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)
and inertial navigation (INS) that is designed, developed, and produced entirely by
ESCRIBANO M&E within its facilities located in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
The control and guidance segment, algorithm formulation, impact forecasting, dynamic
flight simulation, and sensors enable FGK to significantly enhance the effective accuracy of launches
(CEP* below 20m for launches up to 40km), thereby reducing the quantity of rounds
needed to neutralize a target and mitigating collateral damage.

On June 7, at the Torregorda Test Center (CET), 5 ER02A1 155 mm projectiles were
successfully fired for the first time in Spain, utilizing a 52-caliber SIAC artillery piece,
demonstrating the system’s reliability and accuracy.
