Esterline Corporation has recently finalized a contract with Thales Australia on the 12th of September. Through this agreement, Esterline will provide Thales with durable displays and servers intended for installation in the Hawkei Protected Mobility vehicles. This contract was granted after a global tender process, recognizing Esterline’s industry dominance, distinctive system architecture, and, most importantly, successful testing.
Thales selected Esterline’s robust networked products for the vehicles after an exhaustive evaluation process, which featured comprehensive testing and technical information sharing sessions with the Esterline team.
“For Esterline, this agreement affirms that we possess the solutions necessary to equip next-generation protected vehicles built upon the Generic Vehicle Architecture,” stated Steven Luys, Vice President of Rugged and ATC, Esterline Advanced Displays. He continued: “We are excited to supply the displays and servers that will enhance situational awareness in this highly regarded next-generation vehicle.”
