By engaging in industry conferences and disseminating knowledge, FNSS aspires to contribute to the ongoing discussions concerning the future of power systems in armored vehicles.

The FNSS HYBRID Power Pack development initiative commenced in 2021. FNSS initially presented the KAPLAN HYBRID Vehicle for the first time at the IDEF 2023 International Defence Industry Fair in July 2023. The assembly of the first prototype vehicle has been finalized, and control software development and enhancement activities are ongoing, involving collaboration among E-Mobility & Advanced Design Solutions, Automotive Systems, Electronic Design, Software Development, Simulation, and Testing teams within the FNSS R&D facility. Critical verification testing has begun and is expected to conclude by the end of 2023. Through this project, FNSS aims to engineer a distinct hybrid power pack solution that can be seamlessly integrated into tracked platforms within its current lineup and potentially extended to a vast array of tracked vehicles, should there be demand from users globally.
