International Armored Group Launches Cutting-Edge Rila Combat Vehicle at IDEX 2021
International Armored Group seized the occasion at the 15th iteration of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), which took place from 21 to 25 February, to showcase a novel combat vehicle.
A prominent figure in the production of wheeled protected and armored vehicles, International Armored Group (IAG) has introduced its latest wheeled infantry combat vehicle, dubbed the Rila.
The Rila is an eight-wheeled armored vehicle currently under development by IAG for out-of-area missions, fulfilling the complete spectrum of requirements for mobility and durability.
This innovative infantry combat vehicle is engineered to deliver exceptional mobility, firepower, survivability, and sustainability, while being user-friendly to operate and maintain.
The design of this vehicle adheres to the contemporary standards of an armored personnel carrier, featuring an engine positioned at the front, a crew compartment in the center, and a troop area towards the rear.
The vehicle is managed by a crew of three and has the capacity to transport a total of ten (10) passengers, thereby enhancing troop-carrying functionality.
