At Eurosatory 2024, KNDS is presenting its latest advancements in main battle tank technology with the launch of the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 and Leclerc Evolution.
The Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 is equipped with a remotely operated turret featuring a modular automated loading mechanism. The primary weapon caliber can be adjusted between 120mm and 140mm. This configuration optimizes space within the chassis, providing a fully enclosed and secure crew area for 3-4 crew members. Advanced ballistic protection comes in conjunction with a reliable active protection system and a remote weapon station designed for counteracting drone threats. Additionally, the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 is equipped with a guided missile system for engaging targets beyond visual range while remaining mobile, along with a 30mm remote weapon system for tackling close combat and aerial dangers.
The Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 is engineered to be backward compatible with existing Leopard 2 models, facilitating economical upgrades. Any operational Leopard 2 variant can be enhanced to achieve Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 specifications. This modular design allows KNDS to customize solutions to cater to the unique requirements of each client.
