Kongsberg Secures Impressive NOK 1 Billion CROWS Contract

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KONGSBERG) has secured a contract from the US Army to supply an extra 409 CROWS remote armament stations, spare parts, and assistance. This contract is valued at USD 94 million or roughly NOK 1 billion.

This contract is part of the IDIQ* framework agreement granted in October 2022, marking the fourth successive five-year contract awarded to KONGSBERG for the provision and support of the US Army’s Commonly Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS).

“We are immensely grateful for the chance to deliver more CROWS systems to the US Army and for the trust our clients place in our offerings and our organization,” states Eirik Lie, President of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

The products will be produced and assembled at the KONGSBERG facility located in Johnstown, PA.

Throughout the last 25 years, KONGSBERG has provided over 22,000 Remote Weapon Systems to clients across more than 28 distinct countries.
