SunExpress has teamed up with HAVELSAN for the provision of a Boeing B737NG flight training appliance (FTD Level II).
The flight training appliance crafted by HAVELSAN will endow SunExpress with a superior and effective training capability, significantly enhancing the pilot training and educational experience. Comparable to a comprehensive flight simulator, the FTD Level II will offer SunExpress pilots numerous chances to hone their abilities towards high standards of proficiency. The simulator is scheduled to be set up at the SunExpress Headquarters in Antalya by the conclusion of 2024.

SunExpress has recently placed orders for up to 90 Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 aircraft and aspires to double its fleet within the next decade, reaching 150 aircraft by the year 2033. The airline intends to recruit more than 1500 new pilots by 2033 to accommodate its growing fleet.
