
Oshkosh Defense Secures $543 Million Deal for Additional JLTVs Ahead of Upcoming Contract Award
Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, declared today that the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal has made a substantial $543 Million procurement to activate available options for the deployment of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Family of Vehicles.
The procurement encompasses Oshkosh Defense JLTVs for the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy, enhancing their operational capabilities.
Since securing the competitive JLTV contract in 2015, Oshkosh has manufactured more than 18,500 JLTVs and deployed vehicles to over 50 U.S. and allied military sites. Furthermore, Oshkosh has attained over 125 patents and applications related to the JLTV family of vehicles and associated advancements, along with investing in various technology demonstrators, such as the hybrid electric JLTV (eJLTV).
