Oshkosh Unveils Game-Changing HET A1 Tractors for Morocco!
Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), declared today that it has secured a direct commercial sales (DCS) contract to furnish Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) A1 tractors and 635NL trailers to Optimum Vehicle Logistics, LLC (Milwaukee, WI). The HET A1 systems will be deployed to the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces.
The HET A1 tractor is designed for line transport, local hauling, and maintenance evacuation of the heaviest mission-essential equipment including tanks, armored vehicles, and recovery units.
“We are excited to collaborate with Optimum Vehicle Logistics, our exclusive distributor in the Kingdom of Morocco, to provide the Kingdom with additional heavy tactical wheeled vehicles in support of its M1 Abrams modernization initiatives,” stated Pat Williams, chief programs officer for Oshkosh Defense. “This contract underlines our commitment to working alongside our international allies to enhance their capabilities and promote interoperability.”
Delivery of the HET A1 systems is expected to commence in the summer of 2025.
