The Patria 6X6 serves as an advanced successor to the Pasi Armoured Personnel Carrier and is designed to enhance the fleet capabilities of clients utilizing the renowned Patria AMV 8X8. This versatile transport vehicle is engineered for multiple purposes. Its chassis design is derived from the same core components as the AMV, albeit with one fewer axle. The vehicle’s propulsion is managed by all three axles and can be steered using either the front two or all three, depending on the configuration. Various optional features can be incorporated to elevate the 6X6 to the specifications of the AMV. For instance, multiple ballistic and mine resistance levels, armament options, self-defense mechanisms, and additional interior features are at your disposal. The Patria 6X6 can integrate diverse weapon systems and, when required, is compatible with the Patria Nemo 120mm mortar system. This model boasts an impressive maximum load-bearing capability of 8.5 tonnes. The armor of the 6X6 meets STANAG level 4 standards, providing effective protection against heavy machine gun fire. Due to the exceptional load-carrying ability of the 6X6, it offers superior protection compared to previous models of the Pasi APC. Its mine defense capability is outstanding, even at the fundamental level, with options to achieve up to 10 kilograms of mine protection. Accessing and exiting the 6X6 is straightforward. Alongside a crew of 2-3 individuals, the vehicle can accommodate ten combat personnel, subject to its intended use and configuration. The operator can seamlessly adapt to the controls found in the 6X6’s truck-like cockpit. This vehicle is conceived as a straightforward and economical truck-like solution. In terms of durability, it continues the legacy of its predecessor, the Pasi. The 6X6 is also a coherently unified concept in regard to its manufacturing processes. If required, final assembly and additional equipping can be efficiently carried out by a partner in the target nation. The 6X6 adheres to NATO specifications and is perfectly suited for various scenarios, including peacekeeping missions globally.
