“Revolutionizing the Waves: CCCUE Welcomes the Cutting-Edge Saab Seaeye Panther XTP to Its Fleet”

CCCUE enhances fleet with cutting-edge Saab Seaeye Panther XTP

Saab UK has provided and delivered a new Seaeye Panther XTP remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to CCC Underwater Engineering S.A.L (CCCUE), bolstering the company’s offshore inspection and construction proficiencies throughout its worldwide operations.

The delivery of the Panther XTP was finalized in January 2025, substituting CCCUE’s long-standing Panther 905, which was initially provided in 2001. This follows the successful incorporation of another Panther XTP into CCCUE’s fleet in 2023, demonstrating sustained confidence in the system’s efficiency.

Founded in 1976, CCCUE commenced as a commercial diving entity operating in the Arabian Gulf. Today, the company has transformed into a comprehensive offshore construction service provider supporting the energy sector on a global scale. With this latest acquisition, CCCUE now manages a fleet of nine Saab Seaeye ROVs.

Tavis Letherby, Survey / ROV Manager at CCCUE, stated:

“We have collaborated with Saab Seaeye vehicles for over twenty years, and their dependability has been fundamental to our operations. The Panther XTP’s established performance, along with its intuitive design, renders it an exceptional choice for the intricate demands of our projects.”

Jon Robertson, Managing Director at Saab Seaeye, remarked:

“CCCUE’s ongoing investment in the Panther XTP highlights the system’s significance to operators within the offshore energy sector. We take pride in supporting CCCUE’s objectives with dependable, high-performance vehicles that meet the practical demands of global offshore endeavors.”

The Panther XTP is a compact, robust ROV crafted for a diverse array of offshore inspection and intervention applications. It boasts a history of strong performance in demanding environments.
