Rheinmetall and Intracom Defense Unite for Cutting-Edge Vehicle C4I Solutions
Rheinmetall and Intracom Defense from Greece have reached an agreement to collaborate extensively in the domain of vehicle-oriented C4I systems.
The two firms will synchronize their efforts for the collaborative development and promotion of a vehicle-oriented C4I system aimed at collectively fulfilling the demands of their local and global markets. Both collaborators complement each other remarkably: while Rheinmetall Electronics focuses on command and communication frameworks for interaction between vehicles and the command hierarchy, Intracom Defense is a renowned international expert in intercom technologies that facilitate communication among crew members.
On a practical level, the collaboration will emphasize the integration of Rheinmetall’s TacNet tactical management framework and expertise in soldier systems and C4ISTAR applications with Intracom Defense’s WiSPRevo communication and information system, alongside their extensive experience in the field of vehicular communications.
As per the collaboration agreement, Rheinmetall and Intracom Defense will combine their technological, manufacturing, and commercial strengths to deliver high-performance, user-friendly, and cost-effective C4I solutions tailored for military vehicles — consistently aligned with the requirements of their clients.
