“Naval Allies Unite: Saudi Arabia and Jordan Execute ‘Safe Shore-5’ Exercise”

Safe Beach-five, the collaborative naval exercise conducted by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Royal Jordanian Navy commenced on Sunday in Dammam (Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia), as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The offshore exercise encompasses the execution of various real-world scenarios to tackle the region’s challenges and aims to implement strategies aimed at enhancing the operational combat readiness of the participating forces, according to a combined statement.

This maritime exercise continues the tradition of annual joint drills designed to fortify the military cooperation between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, the statement highlighted.

Furthermore, the drill aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and develop competencies related to exercise planning and practical execution, which significantly contributes to strengthening military capabilities and improving coordination among armed forces, the statement pointed out.

General Ali bin Saeed Al-Shehri, Commander of the joint forces involved in the exercise, expressed that the five-day event encompasses various joint military operations intended to elevate the readiness levels and combat capabilities of participating units, fostering military cooperation between the two allied nations and sharing expertise in military advancements.

Meanwhile, Colonel Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Bliwi, Drill Commander, emphasized that the exercise consists of a series of collaborative military trainings as part of a cohesive strategy to bolster military collaboration between the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Jordan Armed Forces, indicating that the exercise includes the application of both theoretical and practical trainings that facilitate knowledge exchange and unify joint military concepts.
