Saab Secures U.S. Marine Corps Deal for Cutting-Edge Training Solutions

The U.S. Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems has granted Saab the Force on Force Training Systems – Next (FoFTS-Next) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). This contract boasts a projected value of USD 127.9 million.

The FoFTS-Next SATOC will encompass U.S. Marine Corps Training Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS) gear, logistics, and support for training exercises.

Under this framework agreement with forthcoming task orders, Saab will deliver a comprehensive live training capability, which includes the provision of equipment for individual Marine firearms and vehicles, alongside logistics, maintenance assistance, and training exercise support across all major U.S. Marine Corps bases globally.

“Guaranteeing the preparedness of our Armed Forces is the basis of all Saab training systems. The Saab Live MCTIS Training System stands as a validated solution that will provide interoperability training to equip our U.S. Marines for operational effectiveness in multi-domain scenarios,” stated Erik Smith, President and CEO of Saab in the U.S.

The Saab advanced Live MCTIS Training System will substitute the U.S. Marine Corps’ existing Instrumentation and Tactical Engagement Simulation System (ITESS) equipment. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and a well-established training philosophy, Saab delivers industry-leading training solutions and capabilities that ensure interoperability and true realism for land forces. Saab provides options for live training, live fire training, virtual training, and comprehensive training services.
