“Denmark Takes a Leap: Unveiling a Powerful 129-Vehicle Fleet of Patria 6×6 Armor!”

Denmark has successfully completed the final steps in the multinational Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) initiative by signing the last three contracts simultaneously: the R&D Agreement, the Framework Contract, and the Lifecycle Management (LCM) Agreement. This development follows the ratification of the Technical Accord with all participating countries as recently as April 2025.

Consequently, Denmark has ordered 129 CAVS 6×6 armored vehicles based on the Patria 6×6 within this program. The first batch of vehicles is expected to be delivered later this year. Denmark is now the fifth country, after Finland, Latvia, Sweden, and Germany, to partake in this initiative.

Within the CAVS framework, the 6×6 armored vehicle system is being developed under the leadership of Patria, which has over four decades of experience in designing, delivering, and supporting advanced protected troop transport and system integration. The delivery of vehicles is facilitated by utilizing local industrial capabilities of member nations, and each new participant inherently strengthens the supply security for the entire cooperative framework. Patria has already received orders for nearly 1,000 Patria 6×6 vehicles and has successfully delivered more than 200. The initiative remains open to nations with analogous equipment needs, contingent upon mutual agreement among the involved countries.

Patria will be present at Denmark’s largest defense industry showcase, DALO Industry Days, in Bellerup, Denmark, on August 20–21, 2025. This event is organized by The Danish Ministry of Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO). The CAVS 6×6 armored vehicle will also be featured prominently at the expo.
