The compact structure of the Caracal allows for the transportation of up to two vehicles within the cargo hold of a CH-53K King Stallion or CH-47F Chinook transport helicopter, which can also carry it as an underslung load.
With its distinctive modular framework and two available wheelbases, the Caracal can be utilized in numerous roles during airborne missions—serving as a fundamental troop carrier, medical support vehicle, or supply transport—all on a single automotive platform.
The Caracal will commence full-scale production in 2023. Rheinmetall guarantees complete lifecycle support for over twenty years.
Eurosatory 2022 will be held in Paris from June 13 to 17. Under the slogan “Move – Sense – Strike,” Rheinmetall will unveil an extensive array of products and initiatives there. Spanning approximately 3,000 square meters, this year’s exhibition will be Rheinmetall’s largest participation ever at Eurosatory. The focus will be on reconnaissance capabilities, connectivity, mobility, survivability, and lethality on future battlefields.
