Texelis and Yugoimport: Celebrating a Remarkable Alliance in 2023!
At Partner 2023 in Belgrade, Texelis commemorates its remarkable, enduring collaboration with Yugoimport on the Milosh and Lazar series of combat vehicles.
Founded on a deep commitment, mutual trust, technical proficiency, and close collaboration, this alliance is now represented by several hundred vehicles manufactured over the past 8 years.
Since 2015, Texelis has played a vital role in the majority of vehicles engineered by Yugoimport. The company was initially chosen to supply mobility components for the Lazar 3 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV). Subsequently, it was selected to deliver axles for the Milosh 4×4 multipurpose vehicle, which arguably strikes the best balance in the 4×4 market between mobility, payload, and protection. Building on the achievements of the Milosh, Yugoimport has recently launched the larger Milosh 2, which utilizes Texelis’ next-generation T750 axles and advanced technology for enhanced payload, mobility, and overall transport capabilities. Throughout the development of these products, Texelis has been entrusted at the highest level to provide Yugoimport with mobility advice and comprehensive design suggestions.
As of 2023, Texelis has supplied a significant quantity of Lazar 3 8×8 IFVs, with an ongoing order for T900 axles. Texelis has also outfitted Milosh vehicles with its T700 axles. In total, Texelis has contributed to several hundred Yugoimport vehicles in what has proven to be an extraordinary partnership.
Milosh, Milosh 2, and Lazar 3 also hold export potential, which could further enhance existing fleets in the coming years.
This exceptional partnership with Yugoimport positions Texelis as a primary supplier for Yugoimport, the Serbian Army, and also as a trusted, high-quality provider of military mobility solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) globally.
Simultaneously, Texelis has cultivated new capabilities and now designs comprehensive mobility solutions, integrated into premium systems such as the French Army’s Serval 4×4 armored personnel carrier, developed, qualified, and produced in collaboration with France’s leading Defence company Nexter, part of KNDS. These holistic mobility solutions can now be offered to create innovative vehicles within the scope of strategic alliances.
