“Revolutionizing Defense: FNSS Unveils Groundbreaking Project for Turkey and the Philippines”

According to the agreement established between FNSS and the Department of National Defense (DND) of the Philippines, which came into effect in August 2020, FNSS is set to deliver stabilized one-man turret production, integration, and logistical support services to the Philippine Army. The integration of these turrets with military vehicles is anticipated to occur in October 2021, with training and logistical support services expected to be finalized by December 2021.

As part of the Philippine Army’s modernization initiative, the primary aim of this endeavor is to enhance the firepower of current tracked armored vehicles. In this context, one-man turrets, which have been previously developed and utilized in various nations, will be manufactured with cutting-edge fire control capabilities and advanced sight systems (day/night). The turrets will be produced at FNSS facilities, subsequently integrated into tracked armored vehicles by FNSS in the Philippines, and then dispatched to the end-users. Testing for acceptance will occur in both Turkey and the Philippines, while turret training will be conducted in the Philippines as part of the comprehensive logistical support services.

One-man turrets featuring various caliber armaments were selected by the Philippine Army over offerings from globally recognized companies, thanks to their cost-effectiveness and exceptional technical specifications.

This initiative falls under the Defense Industry Cooperation Pact established between the governments of Turkey and the Philippines.
