ASELSAN Unveils Revolutionary GÖKSUR Defense System Featuring 20 Missiles at EURONAVAL 2024

ASELSAN is set to present the upgraded version of the GÖKSUR Point Missile Defense System, featuring a launcher capable of accommodating 20 missiles, during EURONAVAL 2024, taking place in Paris from November 4-7.

ASELSAN, Turkey’s premier defense corporation, will showcase a diverse portfolio of its cutting-edge naval electronic warfare technologies, innovations in underwater systems, sophisticated naval communication products, and electro-optical systems, along with its autonomous surface and underwater
vehicles.

The company will introduce a next-generation model of GÖKSUR, the advanced PDMS (Point Defense Missile System), furnished with a launcher that can hold 20 missiles.

ASELSAN GÖKSUR. GÖKSUR 100-N features a 360-degree target engagement capability.

The latest variant, recognized as GÖKSUR 100-N, incorporates the GÖKSUR IIR missile.

This missile, guided by IIR (Imaging Infrared) technology, was originally engineered for air-to-air combats and has now been suitably adapted for maritime defense applications.

GÖKSUR 100-N presents a full 360-degree target engagement capability, rapid deployment in adverse sea conditions, and outstanding performance in multi-threat environments due to its swift turret stabilization mechanism.

Moreover, it showcases high efficiency and the capability to tackle multiple targets concurrently, backed by an advanced fire control system seamlessly integrated with AI technologies and mid-course guidance features against modern anti-ship threats.

With its enlarged missile capacity, GÖKSUR 100-N enhances operational flexibility and significantly elevates the vessel’s situational awareness.

Multiple configurations of GÖKSUR PDMS, including GÖKSUR 100-N VLS (a versatile and modular Vertical Launcher System) and GÖKSUR 100-N/StA (a turret designed for independent operations), are also offered, providing users customized air and missile defense solutions.

ASELSAN will additionally feature the GÖKDENİZ Close-in Weapon System, MARLİN Unmanned Surface Vehicle, DÜFAS Low-Frequency Active Sonar System, and DERİNGÖZ Autonomous Underwater Vehicle at EURONAVAL 2024.
