“Elevating Aviation: PT Black Diamond’s Game-Changing Avionics for Six Bell 412EP Helicopters in Indonesia”
Bell Textron Inc., a division of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), revealed that six Bell 412EP helicopters upgraded with its BasiX-Pro Glass Cockpit Retrofit Kit have been successfully transferred to the Indonesian Army Aviation.
The upgrade, executed by PT. Black Diamond Heliaero (BDH), an authorized Bell Maintenance Center in Indonesia, provides the Indonesian Army Aviation with an advanced cockpit, high-resolution displays, in addition to engine metrics and flight operation logging for their Bell 412EP helicopters. This modernization enhances the fleet’s productivity by reducing pilot workload and improving situational awareness, representing a notable advancement in operational efficiency.
