
Lockheed Martin Secures $1.4 Billion Contract for C-130J Export Support
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corp., based in Marietta, Georgia, has secured a significant contract worth $1.4 billion for C-130J aircraft sustainment support through Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
This contract features a 10-year ordering period, emphasizing a long-term commitment to enhancing aircraft operational efficiency. Operations will primarily take place within the respective host nation.
The comprehensive support services include program management, spare parts supply, logistics support, diminishing manufacturing sources management, and technical services. Furthermore, field service representatives will facilitate on-ground assistance, ensuring efficiency and compliance through a series of technical order updates and depot maintenance.
This award results from a sole-source acquisition strategy, entirely funded through Foreign Military Sales, with no immediate financial obligations incurred at the time of contract initiation.
