“Lockheed Martin Triumphs: PAC-3 Successfully Hits Target in Groundbreaking RIG-360 Test”

In a groundbreaking event, the U.S. Army deployed an innovative communication technology by Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) to assist a PAC-3 missile in intercepting a cruise missile target.

During the U.S. Army Integrated Flight Test-2, the prototype missile communication system, referred to as Remote Interceptor Guidance – 360 (RIG-360), effectively transmitted data to an active PAC-3 missile, assessing its data link functionalities. RIG-360 offers a comprehensive 360-degree engagement capability for PAC-3 missiles by leveraging target information from multiple sensors.

“This triumphant trial validates our RIG-360 prototype as one of the numerous solutions we provide to equip our clients in navigating the entire range of 21st-century threats,” stated Scott Arnold, Vice President of Integrated Air and Missile Defense at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
