U.S. Army Expands Lockheed Martin’s HIMARS Partnership for Enhanced Firepower

Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control has received a $160,480,077 amendment to an existing agreement for the manufacturing of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (M142) launchers and associated support services.

Apart from Lockheed Martin’s Camden facility, operations will also take place at nine additional U.S. locations and in Taiwan.

The projected completion date is April 30, 2023. Fiscal 2021 funding for research, development, testing, and evaluation from the Army; procurement for the Marine Corps; Foreign Military Sales (Taiwan); along with missile procurement funding from the Army amounting to $160,480,077 were allocated at the time of the award.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL oversees the contracting process.
