Turkish defense technology provider Aselsan Elektronik announced on Thursday that it has finalized three international export agreements totaling $38.8 million (32.8 million euros) with an unnamed overseas customer for the provision of advanced electro-optics and communication systems.

According to the export agreements, shipments are scheduled to occur between 2021 and 2022, Aselsan stated in a report to Borsa Istanbul’s public disclosure platform (KAP).

Aselsan, which is a subsidiary of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, specializes in creating and producing software, devices, systems, and platforms for military, navy, aerial, and aerospace sectors.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Aselsan has ramped up production and exports, increasing the number of nations utilizing its products and technologies to a total of 70, with six new countries welcomed in 2020. The defense titan has achieved a record foreign exchange revenue of $327 million, with an additional $90 million anticipated by year-end.
