The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has granted BAE Systems a two-year agreement to assist NAWCAD’s Special Communications Mission Solutions Division with a variety of technical services. This contract, worth $34 million, aims to support and sustain the lifecycle of essential communication and electronic systems.
“We have been delivering technical expertise and services to NAWCAD for 25 years,” stated Mark Keeler, vice president and general manager of Integrated Electronics and Warfare Systems at BAE Systems. “Our team is profoundly dedicated to meeting our customer’s needs and supporting their international mission.”
BAE Systems will deliver logistics management, planning, and integration support, along with technical publications, configuration oversight, engineering, training, and hardware monitoring. The tasks will be executed at locations in Southern Maryland, as well as Chesapeake, Virginia; Fayetteville, North Carolina; San Diego, California; and several international sites.
