Fincantieri and WSense Forge New Horizons in the Underwater Realm

Fincantieri and WSense, an advanced technology firm focused on underwater monitoring and communication networks, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to initiate collaboration in the realm of the Underwater Internet of Things (UIoT).

The organizations will explore potential avenues for collaboration across multiple sectors, including adaptive underwater communication systems and the associated multimodal networks, alongside the advancement of solutions aimed at measuring the relative positioning of unmanned surface and submerged vessels, as well as cloud-based solutions within the Defense arena. This initiative builds upon WSense’s current expertise in civilian applications while also considering the engagement of additional specialized entities.
