General Dynamics Secures Key ISS Contract with Canada’s Naval Forces

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada revealed today that it has secured the Halifax-class Combat Systems (HCCS) In-Service Support (ISS) agreement valued at $182 million over a span of six years (inclusive of tax).

General Dynamics will assist the Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) operational preparedness and maintenance goals by offering ISS to six Combat Systems across 12 Halifax-class vessels, RCN Fleet Schools, Fleet Maintenance Facilities, and the Naval Electronic Systems Test Range in both Atlantic and Pacific regions.

This ISS agreement will play a pivotal role in ensuring the RCN’s HCCS Equipment Group – which primarily consists of radar technologies – is prepared for any mission. General Dynamics is additionally enhancing and servicing underwater sensors on the Halifax-class vessels through the Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade contract – further bolstering technologies that contribute to Canada’s economic growth.
