Indra will provide the second batch of K130 corvette class vessels for the German Navy with its cutting-edge Rigel electronic warfare system, strengthening the capability of these ships even in the most intricate environments.
The firm has secured a significant agreement with the naval systems provider Atlas Elektronik and will deliver five Rigel RESM/RECM systems (Radar Electronic Support Measures/Radar Electronic Countermeasures).
This essential technology empowers the vessel to monitor electromagnetic domains and identify active radar emissions in its surroundings.
Furthermore, it enables the simultaneous counteraction of multiple active threats through various disruption and decoy strategies.
Indra has integrated advanced broadband digital reception technology into its system to ensure the utmost sensitivity and detection range possible, thereby offering a significant advantage to the vessel.
All these features have undergone rigorous testing, yielding outstanding results in the most challenging and complex real-world electromagnetic conditions. The system guarantees optimal reaction time and accuracy in such environments.

Indra has already deployed its RESM/RECM systems in the initial series of K130 corvettes that are presently active within the German Navy.
