This advancement of the current MARSS NiDAR command and control framework is revolutionary for users of diverse small tactical platforms in governmental surveillance, border oversight, coastguard duties, vital asset safeguarding, and special forces assignments.

Equipping NiDAR on any assortment of light vehicles, vessels or UAVs, including swift patrol crafts, light tactical ground vehicles, light aircraft, and autonomous systems, instantly converts them into a fully interconnected mobile tactical surveillance setup. A unified surveillance view can be accessed and managed from any designated unit or through a command center.

As a comprehensively integrated command and control framework, NiDAR can be installed or retrofitted onto virtually any device, regardless of its size. The solution combines various sensors including; cameras, radar, sonar, communication systems, and blue force tracker inputs, allowing the user to detect and track both unidentified and identified aerial, surface, and underwater entities.

Rob Balloch – VP Sales for MARSS noted, “We are extremely enthusiastic about this evolution of NiDAR as it represents the first lightweight command and control system capable of integrating all surveillance resources into a singular tactical overview.

Whether it’s sonar on a patrol vessel, radar on a light patrol vehicle, or electro-optics on a drone, all can be managed and coordinated from one specific asset, with the data rapidly disseminated across all other units. It acts as a force multiplier for the military; providing small platforms with the capabilities of larger systems.”

NiDAR is platform agnostic, offering a versatile and cost-efficient tactical enhancement with integration to an extensive range of sensors and communication alternatives. NiDAR can also be merged into existing infrastructures with no restrictions on the number of platforms and sensors that can be integrated into the network.

In addition to NiDAR, MARSS can offer all the sensors needed to transform any current fleet of light patrol vehicles, vessels, and other assets into a seamlessly networked mobile tactical surveillance system.

Recently, MARSS has finalized the sale and integration of a networked NiDAR system for an undisclosed fleet of small special forces patrol vessels.
