São Paulo – Mac Jee, a Brazilian frontrunner in the defense sector, is a confirmed exhibitor at the LAAD 2024 fair, the largest showcase of defense and technological products and services in Latin America. The company is presenting the revamped version of the Armadillo, a police tactical vehicle designed for urban unrest that strives to safeguard convoys and clear routes.
The police Armadillo boasts remarkable adaptability and captivates audiences with its state-of-the-art design and functionalities. Crafted for extreme operational conditions, the Mac Jee vehicle can attain speeds of up to 113km/h, weighs nearly three tons, and accommodates two crew members in its cabin. It is equipped with armor, external and thermal imaging cameras, a smoke grenade launcher, and vibration dampers. Additionally, it features a built-in retractable machine gun that utilizes 7.62mm ammunition, offering rapid reloading and precise targeting, along with other integrated systems such as: communication, positioning, and firing mechanisms linked to the command center and interaction with the local police tactical framework.
