Netherlands Chooses Naval Group to Redefine Underwater Defense with New Submarine Initiative
Naval Group has been chosen by The Netherlands Ministry of Defence for the Replacement Netherlands Submarine Capability initiative, centered on the Barracuda family of expeditionary submarines. This award decision concludes a rigorous selection procedure and initiates a phase of exclusive negotiations leading to the signing of a contract. The Group is enthusiastic about collaborating on this significant project with its Dutch and European allies.
Naval Group is privileged by the award decision articulated by the Netherlands Ministry of Defence (MOD). This determination obligates the group to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with the Netherlands aimed at bolstering the Royal Netherlands Navy submarine service and enhancing collaboration with the Netherlands’ MOD, industry, and R&D affiliates.
