Saab Welcomes BlueBear to Its Innovative Family

Saab has today secured BlueBear Systems Group Ltd, headquartered in the United Kingdom.

The takeover of all shares in BlueBear is an integral aspect of Saab’s ongoing international expansion strategy across crucial markets, which encompass the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, and Germany. BlueBear stands as a global leader in AI-driven autonomous swarm technologies designed for complex defense and security operations. The company employs 65 personnel at their location near Bedford, England, boasting a revenue of £8 million in 2022.

The merger of Saab’s renowned products, services, and solutions with BlueBear’s proficiency as a nimble integrator of AI-driven autonomous swarm technologies will significantly enhance Saab’s future potential. BlueBear will augment Saab’s existing global initiatives, and Saab will gain from BlueBear’s know-how in autonomy and swarming, alongside command and control frameworks.
