Indra Unveils Cutting-Edge H225M Simulator for Singapore’s Air Force

Indra has secured a contract for the design and production of a EASA Level D qualifiable H225M FMS for the RSAF. The agreement encompasses post-delivery assistance, technical support, and options for future enhancements.

The simulator will feature motion and vibration platforms. It will facilitate training in standard and emergency helicopter protocols, with a particular focus on all possible missions undertaken by the RSAF, including search and rescue, aeromedical evacuation, as well as humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations, among others.

Indra’s simulator will guarantee safety throughout training, reproducing authentic operational scenarios and intricate maneuvers. It will emulate both daytime and nighttime operations in various challenging environmental conditions.

Additionally, it will incorporate advanced training analytics capabilities utilizing biometric sensors to aid instructors in assessing pilots and offering deeper insights during debrief sessions.

One of the most remarkable characteristics of this simulator is its Ro-Ro capability, permitting the future potential of helicopter cockpits to be swapped within a single simulator, thereby maximizing system utilization.
