Arnold Defense Launches Revolutionary FLETCHER Laser-Directed Rocket System with First Contract!

Arnold Defense, the St. Louis-based manufacturer of 2.75-inch rocket systems, is excited to announce the receipt of an initial order for its innovative FLETCHER Land Based, Laser Guided Rocket Launcher.

The FLETCHER 2.75-inch/70mm weapon system was first unveiled just 18 months ago at DSEi in London. Since its launch, FLETCHER has been showcased at numerous international exhibitions, generating significant interest, while Arnold Defense has been steadfast in pursuing development and investment strategies to enhance the system’s groundbreaking capabilities.

With FLETCHER, Arnold Defense has made a bold transition from the traditional use of 2.75-inch rocket systems, typically viewed as area-suppression munitions launched from aerial assets. Arnold’s innovation reimagines FLETCHER as a platform utilizing advanced rocket-guidance technology with ground-based launch systems, addressing the demands of modern, vehicle-mounted, and dismounted asymmetric warfare.

The unique design of FLETCHER ensures ease of operation, maintenance, and sustainability. It includes a comprehensive suite of guidance modules, rockets, and warheads already employed in esteemed programs and readily available to international defense forces. FLETCHER is supported by a consortium of global defense industry partners, collaborating under Arnold Defense’s leadership to blend their complementary capabilities.

The first customer for the FLETCHER system, whose identity remains undisclosed, has committed to acquiring FLETCHER due to its exceptional ability to accurately engage targets at distances greater than 5km, showcasing a 100% hit rate in recent test-firings. This initial order pertains to a preliminary batch of launchers, with larger orders anticipated following the successful completion of user trials and demonstrations.
