Oshkosh Defense Unveils Groundbreaking Innovations at Modern Day Marine 2023

Oshkosh Defense LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, is showcasing its offerings at Modern Day Marine in Washington, D.C. from June 27-30, 2023. Featured is the exceptionally adaptable Oshkosh Defense Special Purpose All-Terrain Vehicle (S-ATV) along with the autonomous and highly flexible Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV).

Special Purpose All-Terrain Vehicle (S-ATV): The Oshkosh S-ATV was conceived as a prototype to illustrate the transportability, velocity, and resilience essential to confront emerging and evolving challenges. Lighter than a JLTV, yet exhibiting similar mobility, the S-ATV is fine-tuned to carry larger payloads in unconventional reconnaissance operations, enabling the Warfighter to operate with stealth and agility in the most demanding terrains.

Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV): As an advancement in unmanned technologies and designed with an eye on the future, the Oshkosh Defense RCV is payload agnostic and employs a modular open system architecture to facilitate seamless software and hardware integrations alongside advanced configurations. In May, Oshkosh announced its submission for Phase 1 of the Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) competition.

“The S-ATV and RCV exemplify Oshkosh’s capability to swiftly engineer and evaluate prototype vehicles and systems that enhance the competencies required to address contemporary threats,” stated Pat Williams, chief programs officer at Oshkosh Defense. “We cherish our collaboration with the Marine Corps and remain dedicated to delivering innovative and disruptive technologies in alignment with Force Design 2030.”

Oshkosh Defense leadership will be on hand to discuss the company’s comprehensive portfolio of vehicles, mobility solutions, and cutting-edge technologies. Come visit Oshkosh Defense at Modern Day Marine 2023 in booth #1437.
