BAE Systems Collaborates with the U.S. Navy to Revolutionize Communication and Electronics Technology
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded BAE Systems a two-year contract to support NAWCAD’s Special Communications Mission Solutions Division by providing a wide range of technical services. Valued at $34 million, this agreement aims to assist in the maintenance and lifecycle of vital communication and electronic systems.
“For 25 years, we have consistently provided technical expertise and services to NAWCAD,” remarked Mark Keeler, Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Electronics and Warfare Systems at BAE Systems. “Our team is deeply committed to fulfilling our client’s requirements and supporting their global mission.”
BAE Systems will offer logistics management, planning, and integration support, along with technical documentation, configuration management, engineering, training, and hardware oversight. These activities will take place in various locations, including Southern Maryland, Chesapeake, Virginia, Fayetteville, North Carolina, San Diego, California, and several international sites.
