Transforming Naval Defense: Rohde & Schwarz Joins Forces with ELT Group for Next-Gen Electronic Warfare Innovations
Rohde & Schwarz, in collaboration with ELT Group, has successfully established a contract to supply Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies for the German Navy’s F124 program and the Polish Navy’s new Miecznik class multi-role frigates.
This alliance capitalizes on ELT Group’s expertise in delivering superior solutions that fulfill Rohde & Schwarz’ stringent technical and commercial standards, further supported by the seamless integration of both firms’ capabilities.
Recently, Rohde & Schwarz was selected to provide and incorporate systems for communications, radar electronic support measures, and radar countermeasures (C-ESM/R-ESM/R-ECM) from the R&S KORA suite for the three F124 Sachsen class frigates, as well as communications and radar electronic support measures (C-ESM/R-ESM) for the three Miecznik multi-role frigates. This system elevates situational awareness and strengthens early warning capabilities along with ship self-protection.
ELT Group’s participation is a vital component of the recent acquisition of EW Solutions by Rohde & Schwarz, through the delivery of its state-of-the-art solutions for the R-ESM and R-ECM systems.
“We are extending our fruitful partnership from the F126 initiative and look forward to a reliable collaboration,” remarks Alexander Philipp, Managing Director of Rohde & Schwarz Vertriebs-GmbH. “The ELT Group’s team has significantly enhanced the established R&S KORA solution. This agreement marks a crucial milestone in the synergy between our two organizations and the German-Italian defense collaboration.”
“We are extremely pleased with the conclusion of these significant contracts with Rohde & Schwarz,” expressed Domitilla Benigni, CEO & COO of ELT Group. “They lay the groundwork to further strengthen our value proposition to customers, notably enhanced by our enduring presence in Europe. We are excited to work together closely to guarantee successful execution.”
